I handmade the canvas and frame using oak wood, which I torched with a traditional Japanese wood-burning technique called "Shou Sugi Ban. 🔥🪵This method enhances the natural grain of the wood while weatherproofing it. Properly treated charred timber is incredibly durable and can last over 50 years.
